Launching the Implementation of National Action Plan - Iraq

The Iraqi Cross Sector Task Force 1325 in partnership with the Euromed Feminist Initiative held the conference on launching the implementation of the National Action Plan for UNSCR1325 in Iraq on September 1st 2016 in Erbil. The event was supported by the Embassy of the Netherlands. 

The event brought together the actors of the Task Force 1325 from Baghdad and Erbil and UN Agencies, diplomats and international actors who are interested in supporting the implementation of the NAP in Iraq. The members of the Task Force 1325 - the Follow up Teams from the Ministries in Baghdad and Erbil that have engaged and developed ministerial plans in the framework of the NAP, representatives from National Reconciliation Committee, Members of Parliament and legal experts as well as women’s rights organizations from the INAP 1235 Initiative and Alliance 1325 - presented and discussed their work.
