Euromed Feminist Initiative organized a training workshop entitled “Organizational Development Training” on 7 – 9 August 2018 in Beirut. This event was organized in the framework of the program “Towards sustainable peace and democracy in Syria through strengthening civil society and women’s rights” funded by SIDA. The training aimed at enhancing the capacities of EFI’s partners in particular the persons who are responsible for project proposals, financial and narrative reports, and the monitoring and evaluation reports.
The training was instructed by EFI’s staff, Ms. Mais Afaneh, Regional Program Manager, Ms. Razan Makahleh, Program Coordinator, Mr. Kamal Abu Aisha, Financial Controller, Mr. Mohamed Khalil, Administrative Assistant and Ms. Reema Masoud, Communications Coordinator. They introduced the participants with EFI’s partnership policy, EFI’s guidelines for proposals, instructions and forms related to the financial, implementation, media coverage and anti-corruption issues.
In addition, participants were introduced to several practical techniques on planning, implementation and monitoring, procurement, logistics and reporting of the activities as well as social media coverage and visibility.
