Ms. Moufida Abassi, a doctor in social psychology, is a teacher researcher at the National Institute of Labor and Social Studies of the University of Carthage in Tunisia. She was appointed head of the school social action service and, later on, of the family file and planning. She was director of research at the Observatory of the Rights of the Child before devoting herself to teaching, training and research from 2010 on. She was responsible, at the Ministry of Women, Family and Children, for the coordination, implementation and monitoring of projects and national strategies to fight against violence against women and children. She is also an expert for the UNICEF.
